Evaluation Criteria
Following is criteria for evaluating nominations for State Team Member of the Month:
- Importance of the team member's specific contribution and the extent to which it served to contribute to the team member's work team, the organization – or the public good.
- The impact the team member's contribution had on the efficiency, effectiveness or responsiveness of an agency service or product.
- The originality of the contribution and the inspiration it may serve to other team members toward excellence of performance.
Selection Procedure:
From the nominations submitted, each Selection Committee member will choose three nominations and assign points as follows:
- 1st choice = 3 points
- 2nd choice = 2 points
- 3rd choice = 1 point
Committee members will send their nomination choices to the state program coordinator who will determine (based upon total points received) the State Team Member of the Month. In case of a tie, the Office of Administration Division of Personnel Director will make the final choice.
